4 Books I Think You Should Buy This Summer!

Tribes Seth Godin is one of the most important management gurus around today and seems to knock out books at a rate of knots. This book explores the idea of tribes and says that now, more than ever, any one of us can start a movement. Full of short, interesting examples Tribes should definitely be one to get for summer.

Outliers Any book by Malcom Gladwell, I believe, is always going to be a bloody good read and this one certainly doesn't disappoint. I actually read the first chapter of Outliers in Spanish in a Spanish book shop, Casa del Libro and was instantly hooked. Gladwell explores some of the truths behind why some people are successful and others not. So far every chapter has been a revelation. This book is a MUST READ!

David weinberger David Weinberger is probably best know for being one of the original authors of the Cluetrain Manifesto and is a well-known Social Media commentator and professor. I haven't started the book yet so will give you the Amazon precis for Everything Is Miscellaneous: "as business, politics, science, and media move online, the rules of the physical world - in which everything has a place - are upended".

Here comes everybody A month or so ago I was looking for a book in the same vein as Groundswell and fired off a Tweet to Charlene Li asking for a book recommendation. She recommended Here Comes Everybody (and 3 others!). This book is about involvement and I hope it will give me a greater insight into why people form groups/networks online.
